Tauche ein in die geheimnisvolle Welt tierischer Klänge mit Ultrafauna, einer innovativen Klangkunstinstallation, in der Fledermäuse und andere tierische Ultraschallerzeuger zu Komponisten von Live‑Musik werden.
Dieses einzigartige Instrument fängt Ultraschallrufe ein und verwandelt sie in immersive musikalische Kompositionen in Echtzeit. Während etwa Fledermäuse ihre Umgebung erkunden, werden ihre Echoortungssignale von einem empfindlichen Ultraschallmikrofon aufgenommen und durch eigens entwickelte Software sowie Synthesizer verarbeitet.
Das Ergebnis ist eine dynamische, sich ständig verändernde Symphonie – ein Zusammenspiel zwischen Natur und Technologie, zwischen Instinkt und Interpretation.

Ultrafauna is a one of a kind instrument that captures ultrasonic vocalizations and translates them into immersive musical textures in real time. As bats navigate their surroundings, their echolocation calls are picked up by a highly sensitive ultrasonic microphone and transformed through custom built software and synthesizers.
What emerges is a living soundscape that is never the same twice. It unfolds as a dialogue between nature and technology, guided by instinct and shaped by artistic interpretation.
